Rost Martin has just unveiled a newly minted edition of its RM1C 9mm striker fired pistol which will be sold exclusively through Davidson’s, one of the United States’ largest firearms distributors. This RM1C variant includes a Crimson Trace CTS 1500 open-emitter red-dot sight mounted on the pistol directly from the factory.
“We’re proud to offer dealers this exclusive package alongside our valued partner,” stated company CEO, Chris Toomer, “Our mission includes supporting the safety and security of our customers, and adding a robust but affordable red dot to the RM1C facilitates improved accuracy and faster sight acquisition, while making it easy and affordable for shooters to get out on the range”.
Rost Martin RM1C
The Rost Martin RM1C pistol is a general-purpose handgun built around a compact, polymer frame and a tilting-blowback, semi-automatic, striker fired action. As a compact 9mm pistol, the Rost Martin RM1C has a standard barrel that measures 4 inches long and a standard magazine capacity of 15 rounds. Even though the Rost Martin RM1C was inspired by the popular Glock 1G9, the RM1C is not a direct clone and Rost Martin RM1C magazines are not cross compatible with Glock magazines.
Crimson Trace CTS 1500
The Crimson Trace CTS 1500 red-dot sight is an compact open-emitter model created to be compatible with the popular Shield Sights RMSc optics-mounting footprint. CTS 1500 red-dot sights have a 20,000-hour battery life. They also integrate a light-sensing mechanism that detects varying levels of ambient light to automatically brighten or dim the CTS 1500 3 MOA aiming point.
The standard retail price for this Rost Martin pistol and red-dot Davidson’s exclusive starts at $649. Visit rostmartin.com or crimsontrace.com to learn more about either the Rost Martin RM1C pistol and the Crimson Trace CTS 1500 red dot sight.
